I have written this in hopes of challenging people to re-evaluate why they believe what they believe. What do I believe about the coming of the Lord and our gathering together to him ? Why is it more important today than what we thought in the past ? Is the rapture part of the resurrection of believers ? What does the rapture look like in the light of the fundamental doctrine of the resurrection ? These questions and the writings from the early church fathers will be examined. It should be simple enough for any believer yet thorough enough for the scholar. My prayer is that you are challenged by this.

The reason I like this book is because I agree with the clear theological view of the resurrection and rapture being simultaneous.I like the way Gino builds upon his premise like a carpenter building a house.
Clear readings of I Thess. 4:13-18; II Thess. 2:1-12; Matt. 24; Rev. and Daniel with not a lot of theological calisthenics help the reader see the main points of the book and the conclusions and warnings on page 121.
I liked the use of quotes from the early church fathers(and more importantly the scripture themselves) that seem to line up easily with the points made and the conclusion of the jury on page 116.
Will the church as a whole be ready for the tribulation to come? Read quotes from Corrie Ten Boom regarding the slumber of the Body of Believers not being ready for persecution/ and or tribulation as a whole.
